(Crispy)-Fluffy rice

Today I have the pleasure to share with you my recent cooking experience. Cooking is more than a daily routine for preparing food but it is a solution and resolution for bodily and spiritual needs.

On occasion of current cold nights and days I came to make my delicious fluffy rice for my breakfast today. Fortunately a nice crispy crust of rice has ensued at the bottom and the periphery of my rice so that we my call it (Crispy)-Fluffy rice.

The idea is to put as much water as you can in the pot of your rice cooking. Cover the pot until it begins to boil then remove the pot’s cover. Let the water gently boil and evaporate steadily meanwhile turn the fire under the pot a bit lower.

Then, cover the pot again as the water in the rice pot has quite evaporated. Make your cooker’s fire even a bit lower but not that much to let the excess water continue to evaporate while the pot cover is in place! 🙂

Enjoy your wintery rice and view my terrible pictures for this time too. And keep doing better. Happy new year 2020 to all my kind readers and also to everybody.

Plain pan bread

Ingredients:
– All purpose flour
– Dried baking yeast
– Water

Method:
1- Put the desired amount of flour, e.g. one and half cups, in a suitable dish and add the dried baking yeast (about 1 full small spoon) to the flour.
2- Add the water little by little to the flour and mix gently in one direction. The desired consistency of the baking can be like that of a milk yoghurt or even lighter.
3- Put a clean pan on the oven top and let the fire set near to maximum. When the pan is quite hot, pour some of the flour mix to the center of the pan.
4- Wait until your baking in the pan hardens, and separate it gently from the pan by a suitable tool like a spoon. And then turn your baking on the other side.
5- After your bread is nicely cooked on both sides, take it out of the pan, and make the next bread by the same way until the whole amount of baking is done.
6- Enjoy your bread with spiced food like cooked beans, olives and green salad, or with sweet stuff like honey or jam; and of course your favorite hot drink 🙂
